Big Blue Whale is thrilled to have worked with the Festival Republic team for two consecutive years at the beautiful Wilderness festival. This four-day boutique event celebrates Music, The Arts, Food and Wellbeing in the picturesque setting of Cornbury Park. Our team loves being a part of this unique festival and delivering top-quality video services to capture the essence of Wilderness.
We were thrilled to return for our second year at Wilderness. With so much happening across the festival, we assembled our largest crew yet, consisting of eight talented individuals equipped with top-of-the-line cameras and drones.
Onsite, our team worked tirelessly to produce daily edits, collaborating closely with the festival’s director to ensure we captured every memorable moment. Despite the client’s request for a tight turnaround, our editors completed the official highlights film in record time, showcasing the festival’s unique blend of entertainment and fun.
This year, we were proud to have a junior team member who gained valuable experience as a camera operator, contributing to the festival’s visual story.
Wilderness Festival was impressed with our previous festival work, which led to them approaching us for their video content needs. They wanted to take their visual storytelling to the next level and we were the perfect team for the job.
Our team was made up of a creative lead, 4 camera operators, a drone pilot, 2 on-site editors, a sound recordist and a designer. Our primary focus was to capture the vibrant atmosphere of the festival and the unique individuals who make it so special.
