Reflecting on 2024: A Whale of a Year for Big Blue Whale

A Year of Stellar Collaborations

As the curtain falls on 2024, we at Big Blue Whale are taking a moment to reflect on what has been an incredible year. From collaborating with amazing clients to crafting standout content, we’ve had the privilege of being part of some extraordinary projects. Let’s dive into the highlights of our journey this year and celebrate the milestones that made 2024 truly unforgettable.

This year has been packed with exciting projects and incredible partnerships. We began by capturing the magic and wonder of Leeds and Newcastle’s Light Night festivals, creating stunning visuals that showcased the blend of art, technology, and community spirit. Our travels to Düsseldorf and Mumbai for the Wire Expo allowed us to create dynamic and engaging content for the IWMA, celebrating innovation and global connections in the wire and cable industry. At one of Europe’s largest data conferences, SQL Bits, we brought the energy and expertise of the event to life through compelling content tailored for tech enthusiasts.

Education and community-focused projects also played a significant role in our year. For Leeds Trinity Academy, we produced a vibrant video that highlighted the diverse and dynamic community within their Culture Day celebration. At White Rose Education, we unveiled their innovative new app through a video that showcased its potential to revolutionize learning and teaching. Bedale High School entrusted us with creating a promotional video that captured the spirit, ethos, and dedication to excellence within their educational community. We also worked with Class Dynamic and helped create a music video for Mount Pleasant Primary School, an inspiring project that celebrated creativity and collaboration in education.

Our corporate collaborations included an inspiring project with Siemens Energy, where we created a video for their event that emphasized their commitment to sustainable energy solutions and forward-thinking innovation. Working with Lexis Nexis on their ICE 2024 event allowed us to deliver impactful marketing content that highlighted their industry leadership and innovative vision.

Festivals were a major highlight of our year, and we had the pleasure of working on some truly special events. Immersing ourselves in the creativity and charm of the Moseley Folk and Arts Festival, we delivered content that reflected its artistic brilliance, while the vibrant sounds and energy of the Mostly Jazz Funk and Soul Festival came alive through our lens, celebrating the best of jazz, funk, and soul. Our work with the Beat-Herder Festival brought out the unique personality of this eclectic event, from quirky moments to iconic performances. To round off the festival season, we partnered with Camp Bestival, producing unforgettable content that showcased its magical and family-friendly atmosphere. Finally, collaborating with From the Fields, we created promotional videos for Kendal Calling that captured the heart and soul of this beloved festival, celebrating music, community, and connection.
