Capturing the Magic
After successfully enhancing some of their existing marketing videos in 2022, our partnership with Northern Lights blossomed. What began as a small editing job quickly evolved into regular collaborations to promote their light trails nationwide.
In 2023, they reached out to us again, eager for our trademark style of filming, featuring dynamic camera movements and impactful transitions. We agreed to capture all the footage in one magical night, building a library of content for all their marketing marterial in 2024.
Armed with our two-person film crew, we arrived in Newcastle early afternoon to capture the essence of Northern Lights. Before darkness fell, we recorded captivating 360 footage, then switched to our Sony cameras to capture the trail from multiple angles. We also captured hyperlapses and timelapses with our electronic slider.
With our diverse footage, we crafted various marketing videos, including quick edits for the 2023 event and an engaging flow-motion video for 2024.
Our 2023 videos helped Northern Lights sell out, earning features in prestigious publications like The Times and The Guardian. Now, we aim to build on that success with our 2024 videos, hoping to attract new visitors and welcome back those who experienced the magic in 2023.
The Northern Lights team has been thrilled with our efforts and looks forward to working with us again in 2024. Plus, there are exciting talks about capturing content for another upcoming light trail. Stay tuned for more updates.
