We teamed up with Class Dynamix and Mount Pleasant Primary School to create an inspiring music video that brought students’ voices to life, capturing the heart and soul of a community through song and storytelling.
Dan from Class Dynamix approached us after seeing our work and loving the style we brought to each project. He felt that our creative approach would perfectly complement his artistic vision for a music video featuring Mount Pleasant Primary School. Dan collaborated closely with the school to compose an original song, while the school choir dedicated their time to practice.
With a strong vision already in place from Dan and the Mount Pleasant School team, our focus was on translating their ideas into a captivating music video that would not only showcase the students’ talents but also highlight the school’s vibrant community spirit.
The shoot took place over three days at Mount Pleasant Primary School where we captured all the narrative elements needed for the music video. One of the highlights was using our drone to capture aerial shots of the school’s new playground area where the whole school came out.
We also filmed multiple performances, featuring different groups, as well as some standout solo acts. We also got the chance to film at the Huddersfield football grounds, which provided a dynamic and visually interesting backdrop.
Post-production was where everything came together. We carefully edited the footage to sync seamlessly with the music, weaving in narrative elements to create a compelling story arc that was both engaging and easy to follow.
Dan and the Mount Pleasant School team were absolutely thrilled with the final video, and were very keen to share it with the wider community. The film beautifully captured the spirit of the school and showcased the students’ hard work and talents, blending education with the joy of music.
The video has already been well-received, sparking enthusiasm among parents, teachers, and students alike. This project provided a fantastic opportunity for us to merge two of our passions—education and music—and we’re eager to explore more creative collaborations like this in the future.
